She said the World Bank carries out the assessment of 'green' development in Azerbaijan.

In addition, she noted that the bank will prepare a report on the country's transition to low-carbon economy.
She said Azerbaijan has turned into the World Bank's donor over the past 30 years.
Azerbaijan has the potential to become a world leader in green transformation, Sarah Michael said.
She noted that Azerbaijan's five strategic priorities focus on major issues, including green transition, which will have a very positive effect on the country's economy.
