Japan and the European Union have signed a memo of cooperation in the sphere of hydrogen as part of the development of energy cooperation, EU Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson said on Twitter.
"Historic day for EU-Japan energy partnership: we signed with Minister Nishimura a Memorandum of Cooperation on hydrogen," she tweeted.
Simson noted that this cooperation will boost innovation and help create a global market for this fuel of the future.
