Azeristiliktachizat OJSC, a state heating company in Azerbaijan, will be provided with technical assistance as part of the EU4Energy program of the European Union. At the same time, it is planned to improve the quality of service by optimizing the thermal power sector and modernizing the company's management and technological infrastructure.
Within the framework of cooperation, it is expected to develop a strategy and a draft law on thermal energy, as well as a new corporate strategic plan for the company.
These possibilities were discussed at a working meeting between the management of Azeristiliktachizat OJSC and representatives of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER). Discussions were also about supporting the reforms carried out to optimize and strengthen the activities of Azeristiliktachizat OJSC and studying international experience.
