Negotiations with the bp company regarding the construction of a 240 MW solar power plant (SPP) in Jabrayil are nearing completion, Deputy Economy Minister of Azerbaijan, Sahib Alakbarov, said at the scientific conference on "Heydar Aliyev's role in the formation of a competitive economy", Report informs.
According to him, the implementation of large green energy projects has started in the country.
Alakbarov said that within the framework of the work done in the field of green energy, projects are already being implemented with Masdar of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and ACWA Power of Saudi Arabia.
