The Azerbaijan Social Research Centre conducted a countrywide sociological survey (excluding the occupied territories and the Nakhchivan AR) “The Anti-crisis policy of the state in the fight against the pandemics reflected in public opinion” covering 374 business entities. The e-questionnaire provided to the involved entrepreneurs (via e-mail) contained 41 modular questions.
As an excerpt from the analytical report, the summarized opinion on the question “How do you assess the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on your business” is as follows.
The preliminary results were obtained from the analysis of answers to the question “Which sector do you consider as most suffering from the Coronavirus pandemic?”:
Only based on studies carried out internationally in this area we can see the adequacy of the results to global trends.
It is noteworthy, that despite the extensive awareness-raising actions implemented by the Small and Medium-sized Business Development Agency, 78.4% of the entrepreneurs surveyed were aware of the policy and measures implemented by the government to support the SME to minimize the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, while 21,6% of the respondents noted that they had been unaware of the measures in this area.
