Azerbaijan's energy giant, Azerishig, continues to install electric vehicle charging stations across Baku and the regions of Azerbaijan.
Report informs that the company aims to establish a comprehensive infrastructure for EV charging points in the capital and beyond, as the country prepares to host th29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Between March and May of this year, Baku witnessed the installation of charging points at various strategic locations, including the Azerishig Educational and Innovation Center, the Icherisheher substation, the 110/35 kV Sea Breeze-1 substation in Nardaran settlement, and a commercial enterprise along the Gala-Mardakan road. These installations demonstrate the company's commitment to making electric vehicle charging accessible and convenient for residents and visitors alike.
The regional expansion of the charging network has been equally impressive, with charging points now available at the 110/35/10 kV Hajialili substation in Gabala, the 71st kilometer of the Alyat-Astara road in Salyan, and across six districts in Karabakh and East Zangazur.
Azerishig has affirmed its dedication to the ongoing development of the charging network, with plans to continue installations in the capital and regions.
