Azerbaijan-Serbia Energy Cooperation Enters a New Stage

Azerbaijan and Serbia have taken a significant step forward in strengthening their energy cooperation. During the official visit of a delegation led by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, Sahil Babayev, key discussions were held in Belgrade with Serbia’s Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Đedović Handanović.

The meeting focused on expanding energy collaboration between the two countries, emphasizing the potential for joint initiatives in energy security, renewable energy projects, and infrastructure development. Both sides highlighted the importance of bilateral ties in the energy sector and explored opportunities for future cooperation.

Azerbaijan and Serbia have been actively engaging in discussions on diversifying energy sources and improving energy infrastructure, aligning with broader regional energy strategies. This partnership aims to enhance the stability and sustainability of energy supplies in both nations.

The Azerbaijani delegation’s visit also included discussions on broader economic cooperation, reflecting the commitment of both countries to deepening strategic partnerships across various sectors.
