Azerbaijan and the United States have discussed the development prospects of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector during a meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and the U.S. delegation.
The discussions focused on strengthening energy ties, with particular attention to the development of renewable energy, energy transition, and decarbonization efforts. Both parties emphasized the importance of enhancing strategic collaboration in line with global climate goals and Azerbaijan’s green energy ambitions.
The U.S. side expressed its support for Azerbaijan’s efforts to diversify its energy mix and transition toward clean energy sources. Opportunities for joint projects in offshore wind, green hydrogen production, and grid modernization were also explored during the meeting.
The ongoing partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States is built on shared priorities in promoting regional energy security and accelerating the shift toward sustainable energy systems.
