Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, held a series of high-level meetings in the United Kingdom to present and discuss Azerbaijan’s growing green energy potential and investment opportunities.
During his visit, Minister Shahbazov met with representatives of the UK government and business community, focusing on bilateral cooperation in the renewable energy sector. Key topics included offshore wind projects, green hydrogen production, and the transmission of clean energy from Azerbaijan to European markets.
The meetings emphasized Azerbaijan’s strategic plans to become a green energy exporter and its efforts to create a favorable investment environment for international partners. Minister Shahbazov highlighted the importance of joint initiatives in accelerating the global energy transition and invited UK companies to participate in Azerbaijan’s renewable energy projects.
The visit further strengthens the strategic energy partnership between Azerbaijan and the UK and supports Azerbaijan’s broader vision of becoming a regional green energy hub in the coming years.
