Azerbaijan and Vietnam have exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy development and energy transition initiatives.
The MoU signing ceremony took place during a high-level meeting between representatives of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy and Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade. Both countries emphasized their mutual interest in sharing expertise, developing joint projects, and promoting investments in sustainable energy solutions.
The document outlines key areas of cooperation, including solar and wind energy, green hydrogen technologies, energy efficiency, and capacity building. It also establishes a framework for exchanging technical knowledge and facilitating partnerships between public and private sectors from both countries.
This agreement aligns with Azerbaijan’s broader strategy of expanding international energy partnerships and underscores its commitment to becoming a significant player in the global renewable energy market.
