Azerbaijan’s increasing role in global green energy development was highlighted at a recent international event held in Germany, which brought together government officials, energy experts, and international organizations.
During the discussions, participants emphasized Azerbaijan’s efforts in transitioning to renewable energy, its strategic partnerships with the European Union, and its commitment to global climate goals. Particular attention was given to the country’s implementation of large-scale wind and solar projects, as well as its leadership in advancing cross-border green energy initiatives.
Azerbaijan’s upcoming hosting of COP29 was also noted as a major opportunity for the country to showcase its contributions to global climate action and strengthen its position as a regional green energy hub.
The event once again demonstrated the international community’s recognition of Azerbaijan’s strategic importance in the global energy transformation and the country’s potential to supply clean energy to Europe and beyond.
