Azerbaijan is ramping up efforts to advance the use of its green energy resources and reinforce climate initiatives, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov shared in a post on X, Report informs.
Jabbarov noted that he, along with other officials, took part in a panel discussion titled “Sustainable Development Perspectives: Economic and Climate Diplomacy, Energy Security and Connections.”
According to the minister, the session emphasized Azerbaijan’s pivotal role across international energy, transport, and trade arenas. Participants explored ways to diversify regional partnerships, improve private sector access to global markets, and accelerate the adoption of the country’s renewable energy resources. Strengthening climate action also featured prominently in the discussions.
