The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and international consultancy Arthur D. Little have held high-level discussions on expanding cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) integration and renewable energy development.
During a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Arthur D. Little’s Managing Partner Michael Kruse—who also heads the firm’s global Energy & Utilities practice—the two sides explored strategic areas of technological advancement and sustainability within the energy sector.
SOCAR representatives highlighted the company’s broad portfolio of energy operations, both in Azerbaijan and abroad, as well as its ongoing strategic projects. The discussions also covered innovations in energy management, operational efficiency, and competitiveness enhancement practices across the industry.
The meeting served as a platform to exchange views on the global energy transition, digital transformation, and the implementation of AI technologies in industrial operations. Both parties also underscored the importance of renewable energy growth and other key topics of mutual interest.
