Azerbaijan’s Economic Zones Development Agency, under the Ministry of Economy, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Datang Overseas Investment Co. to establish a Green Energy Industrial Park aimed at advancing sustainable energy initiatives in the country.
The agreement was formalized during the inaugural Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025) in Baku. Seymur Adigozalov, Chairman of the agency’s board, and Yuanlong Zhou, General Manager of the Chinese firm, signed the document.
The park is designed to foster innovation in renewable energy and environmentally friendly technologies, supporting Azerbaijan’s broader goals for a greener future.
