During the 21st session of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, Kazakhstan’s Transport Minister Nurlan Sauranbayev expressed interest in securing long-term supplies of petroleum products from Azerbaijan, as reported by Report.
Sauranbayev highlighted the strong strategic energy partnership between the two nations, particularly praising the collaboration between Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR) and Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas in facilitating oil transport via the Trans-Caspian route. He emphasized Kazakhstan’s keen interest in establishing long-term contracts for various petroleum products from Azerbaijan to further strengthen bilateral ties.
