Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov announced that the selection of a consulting company for the Central Asia–Azerbaijan Green Energy Corridor project will be completed in November, paving the way for the project's feasibility study, according to remarks made at the 21st Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in Baku, as cited by Report.
Shahbazov emphasized the project's strategic importance, noting its role in enhancing energy partnerships and bolstering regional energy security through collaboration among Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. He also expressed Azerbaijan’s commitment to deepening cooperation in developing the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor and leveraging new opportunities, including the potential opening of the Zangezur Corridor, to advance regional connectivity and economic growth.
