The UK Ministry of Finance has added Russian oil companies Lukoil and Rosneft to its sanctions list but granted an exemption until October 14, 2027, for specific international energy projects in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan involving these firms, according to Report.
The exempted projects include the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), TengizChevroil, Shah Deniz, the South Caucasus Pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum), the Azerbaijan Gas Supply Company, and Karachaganak, allowing continued operations despite the sanctions.
