A two-day media seminar took place on October 23–24 as part of the European Union’s EU4Energy Phase II Program, co-organized by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy, the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), and the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER), according to Report.
The event equipped journalists with in-depth insights into the media’s vital role in promoting public awareness and transparency in energy policy. Local and international experts discussed pressing challenges in the energy sector and outlined strategies to address them.
Key topics included energy market regulation, tariff methodologies, service quality standards, energy efficiency initiatives, and best practices from the European Union.
The seminar emphasized the importance of collaboration among energy specialists, government institutions, and the media to foster clear and effective communication.
At the close of the program, participating media representatives received certificates of completion.
