In the first nine months of 2025, Azerbaijan shipped 90.2 thousand tons of crude oil and bituminous mineral-derived petroleum products to Austria, valued at $42.7 million, according to the State Customs Committee, as reported by Day.Az.
This marks a 5% increase in volume (4 thousand tons more) compared to the same period in 2024, when 85.9 thousand tons worth $47.9 million were exported. However, the value fell by 10.9% or $5.2 million year-over-year.
Overall, Azerbaijan exported 16.996 million tons of crude oil and related petroleum products to 20 countries during January–September 2025, generating $8.939 billion in revenue—a 3.5% decline in volume (613 thousand tons less) and an 18.8% drop in value ($2.069 billion less) from 2024.
