On November 3, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), which channels Azerbaijani gas to Europe, registered orders for 349,849,291 kWh at Greece’s Kipoi entry point—a 6.71% drop from the previous Monday, according to TAP’s electronic platform, as cited by Report.
For November 4–10, daily orders at Kipoi totaled 348,019,866 kWh, reflecting declines of 7.19% from October 28–29, 7.18% from October 30, 7.19% from October 31, 5.93% from November 1, and 4.64% from November 2. Daily supplies from Greece’s Komotini exit point remained steady at 28,674,418 kWh for November 3–10, matching last week’s figures. Similarly, deliveries from Nea Mesimvria held at 30,346,301 kWh daily over the same period.
At Italy’s Melendugno exit, November 3 orders reached 288,332,315 kWh, down 7.73% from the prior Monday. For November 4–10, daily requests totaled 287,012,315 kWh, showing reductions of 8.15% from October 28, 8.58% from October 29–30, 7.55% from October 31, 6.03% from November 1, and 4.47% from November 2.
TAP, a key segment of the Southern Gas Corridor, spans 878 km: 550 km in northern Greece, 215 km in Albania, 105 km under the Adriatic Sea, and 8 km in Italy. Azerbaijani gas deliveries to Italy, Greece, and Bulgaria began on December 31, 2020, with a target of at least 16 billion cubic meters annually by 2027 under EU agreements. In 2024, TAP transported 11.84 billion cubic meters, including 9.84 billion to Italy, 1.1 billion to Greece, and 0.82 billion to Bulgaria.
