Azerenergy OJSC (Azerbaijan), Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC), and Uzbekistan National Electric Grid JSC convened a General Meeting of Green Corridor Union LLC at the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.
Deputy Energy Minister Orkhan Zeynalov highlighted the strategic significance of the Azerbaijan–Central Asia Green Energy Corridor, describing it as a milestone that elevates regional cooperation to a new level. He emphasized the critical role of the joint company in driving the project forward.
Participants discussed the selection of a consulting firm to conduct feasibility studies and addressed other organizational matters. The meeting concluded with the appointment of Tural Aliyev as the new General Director of Green Corridor Union LLC, an agreement to increase the company’s authorized capital, and the signing of relevant documents.
