Under the chairmanship of Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, the next collegium meeting was held with the participation of representatives from the ministry’s structural divisions and subordinate institutions.
According to information from the Ministry, the collegium meeting placed special emphasis on the continuous development processes in the heat supply sector, large-scale reforms, and the important role played by newly adopted legislative acts in increasing the sector’s efficiency.
During the meeting, a detailed report was heard on the status of implementation of tasks related to the application of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 222-VIIQ dated June 24, 2025, “On Heat Supply.” Extensive discussions were held around the tasks ahead.
In addition, a presentation was delivered on the state of executive discipline at the Ministry of Energy in 2025, the results of conducted inspections, and the process of handling citizens’ appeals. The presentation highlighted the positive indicators achieved in these areas.
At the end of the meeting, relevant instructions were given on all discussed issues, and control mechanisms were established to ensure their timely and high-quality implementation.
This meeting is of significant importance in terms of systematically continuing the reforms in the heat supply sector and accelerating the practical application of legislative innovations.
