UK‑based BP has appointed Ian Taylor as permanent Chairman of its Board of Directors, Report informs, citing the company. He will assume his duties with immediate effect.
According to the information, Taylor replaces Albert Manifold, who was removed from the position in May this year.
Taylor joined BP's Board of Directors as an independent director in April 2025 and was appointed interim Chairman on 26 May this year.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grafton Group plc and Chief Executive Officer of Anglo American plc. Previously, he led the construction group Balfour Beatty.
