In January–August of this year, Azerbaijan exported 429,376.15 tonnes of crude oil to Tunisia, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
The exported product was valued at $266.3 million.
Compared with the first eight months of 2025, export volumes grew 2.3‑fold and value rose 2.6‑fold.
Crude oil shipped to Tunisia accounted for 2.92% of Azerbaijan's total oil exports.
According to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 14,677,951.6 tonnes of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous minerals worth $9.28 billion in January–August this year.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations worth $33.24 billion. Of the total foreign trade turnover, exports accounted for $21.82 billion and imports for $11.42 billion.
