It is planned to increase the share of renewable energy in general energy production of Azerbaijan up to 22% in 2022, Director of the Azerbaijan State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources Tabriz Ammayev said at an online meeting on Renewable Energy in Azerbaijan- Latest Trends and Development, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, currently, this indicator is 17%. It is targeted to reach the share of renewable energy in general energy production for 2030 to 30%.
